Who We Are

We are Chartered Architects near Reading, Berkshire covering the Thames Valley and beyond; Newbury, Reading, Tilehurst, Wokingham, Oxfordshire, and Hampshire, the villages of Pangbourne, Tidmarsh, Goring, Streatley, Sonning Common and all of those places in between.

We provide architectural services for the private domestic, commercial and residential sectors and our portfolio ranges from small, one-off extensions to large, bespoke homes. We have a strong interest in the historic environment, sustainable design and ‘alternative’ methods of construction which we try to implement at every opportunity.

As a Practice we aim to create uplifting spaces through intelligent design in response to client brief, budget and location. We do not believe in standard solutions and since every project is unique, each is examined from first principles, such as site orientation to achieve the optimum solution where it is possible to do so. In designing new buildings we seek to create something our clients can be proud of, whilst making a positive contribution to the property, location, the environment and the community.

We work with a close network of experienced, complementary technical and design consultants such as structural engineers, planning consultants, Party Wall surveyors, environmental services and Ecologists in order to give our clients the best, most cohesive service possible.
